Biography

Christopher N. Singleton, MAI, is the Assistant Director of Investment Services at American Forest Management, Inc. (AFM), where he has been employed for over 13 years, and an adjunct instructor in the Department of Forest Resources at Clemson University.  Prior to assuming his current position, he was the Assistant Director of Appraisal Services at AFM.  His previous experience includes harvest planning on over 1 million acres across the southeastern US for Temple-Inland and five years teaching middle school and coaching high school.  He has four publications, all on timberland appraisal or forest valuation issues.  He is a certified general appraiser in multiple states in the Southeast and Pacific Northwest, holds the MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute, and has an MFR in forest resources from Clemson University and a BS in Physical Education from Florida State University.
